nsp. Gen. Badrodin Haitihas been installed as the new National Police security maintenance chief,replacing Comr. Gen. Oegroseno who has been promoted to National Police deputychief. The installation ceremony took place at the National Police headquarterson Tuesday.
'The new official has three responsibilities: maintaining order, enforcing the law and serving the public,' National Police chief Gen. Timur Pradopo said on Tuesday as quoted by tribunnews.com.
He then praised Oegroseno's success in establishing various techniques and methods that would be useful to the force in the future.
It is the second time Badrodin has filled Oegroseno's shoes, who he previously replaced as Central Sulawesi Police chief. Badrodin considered a potential candidate to replace Timur Pradopo when he soon retires.(dic)
