ambridge International Examinations (CIE), an agency related to theUniversity of Cambridge, will announce the results for 2013 Cambridge IGCSE Olevel and Cambridge International AS and A level exams today (Tuesday).

'€œThe wait for exam results is nearly over for Cambridge learners worldwide. We will release provisional results for the June 2013 series on Aug.13 at 06.00 (British Standard Time),'€ the CIE announced in a statement on its website.

All schools offering Cambridge qualifications in Indonesia have already distributed the username and passwords to each student who took the exam. Students can view their results on CIE'€™s website https://myresults.cie.org.uk.

The number of secondary (O level) and senior secondary (AS and A levels) who took the Cambridge exams in 2013 has risen significantly compared to 2012. Currently, most international schools, national plus and international-standard pilot schools (RSBIs) are offering Cambridge qualifications.

'€œSchools (offering Cambridge qualifications) in Indonesia made over 28,000 exam entries for Cambridge international qualifications, a rise of 15 percent since 2012,'€ the CIE said.

There are now 166 Cambridge schools in Indonesia. According to an estimate, there are more than 9,000 Cambridge schools in 160 countries across the globe.

In a positive development, most of IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) O level and Cambridge International AS and A level students in Indonesia opted for math, physics and biology as their core subjects during the exam.

Generally, humanities and religious studies are favorite subjects among millions of Indonesian students.
