East Jakarta Police spokesman Com. Didik Hariyadi said on Friday that a 46-year-old guest ' identified by the initials AR ' left a box with Sugeng Purwata, a member of staff at the exhibition house' hotel. Sugeng later discovered that the box contained the pistol, 479 7.26-caliber bullets, five rubber bullets, 20 other types of bullets, five shell casings, pistol frames and fishing tools.
Didik said AR left the box at the hotel last Tuesday before checking out from the hotel with a female guest.
