Coordinating Economic Minister Hatta Rajasa has predicted that the inflation rate will decrease in September.
'Inflation impact is still looming now due to Idul Fitri. However, I believe inflation will drop in September and October. I even predict deflation,' Hatta said on Monday, as quoted by Antara news agency.
'The government will continue its market intervention operation to maintain price stability,' he added.
Apart from Idul Fitri, inflation was also driven by the government's subsidized-fuel price hike.
