akarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto says the police have identified two men they are hunting for involvement in a recent series ofshootings that targeted police officers in South Tangerang.
The alleged gunmen have been identified as Nurul Haq and Hendi Albar.
'Nurul was born in Jakarta in 1965, is a academy graduate and is married while Hendi is a father of three children,' Rikwanto said on Friday.
He said according to preliminary investigations, Nurul was the motorcycle driver while Hendi was the shooter. He added that they both participated in a paramilitary training camp held at Mt. Sawal in West Java.
'They have the ability to build homemade firearms and pipe bombs,' he said.
He said that by releasing the information to the public it was hoped that members of the public would report any information regarding the two wanted men to the police.
