Wayang puppet carnival: Italian puppet masters participate in the Wayang World Puppet Carnival 2013 parade at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah miniature park in Jakarta on Sunday. At least 64 puppeteer groups from 46 countries are taking part in the carnival, which will run until Sept. 8. The wayang shows will be held at the National Museum, National Monument (Monas), Usmar Ismail Hall and Taman Mini. The wayang performance was recognized as an oral heritage masterpiece by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) on Nov. 7, 2003. (JP/P.J.
