The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) handed over the Hambalang audit report to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Wednesday
. The audit determined that total state losses inflicted by the Hambalang graft case reached Rp 463.66 billion (US$ 41.73 million).
'The government provided Rp 1.2 trillion from the state budget but only Rp 471 billion was used,' said BPK chief Hadi Poernomo at the KPK building in South Jakarta.
KPK chief Abraham Samad said he guaranteed that the report would be followed up by KPK investigators.
'The official report by the BPK is a solid and enough to prove that corruption was present in Hambalang sports center construction project,' said KPK chief Abraham Samad.(apt)
