BPK hands over Hambalang audit report to KPK

The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) handed over the Hambalang audit report to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on Wednesday

. The audit determined that total state losses inflicted by the Hambalang graft case reached Rp 463.66 billion (US$ 41.73 million).

'€œThe government provided Rp 1.2 trillion from the state budget but only Rp 471 billion was used,'€ said BPK chief Hadi Poernomo at the KPK building in South Jakarta.

KPK chief Abraham Samad said he guaranteed that the report would be followed up by KPK investigators.

'€œThe official report by the BPK is a solid and enough to prove that corruption was present in Hambalang sports center construction project,'€ said KPK chief Abraham Samad.(apt)
