he Foreign Ministry has announced it has repatriated225 more Indonesian migrant workers from Syria as a preventative measure inrelation to the US plan to attack the country in response to an alleged chemicalattack on civilians carried out at the hands of government forces.
'We mean business in saving Indonesians who currently live in Syria,' said Deputy Foreign Minister Wardana in his speech in front of the migrant workers from Syria at Soekarno-Hatta International airport, Tangerang, on Friday evening, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Wardana asked the returning workers to contact their remaining friends in Syria to come to Indonesian Embassy so they could also go home.
The government has so far returned 5,339 migrant workers from Syria in 179 batches since February 2012. (apt/dic)
