Bentara Budaya Jakarta will showcase documentaries that touch on the 1965 aborted communist coup tragedy. Public discourses on the tragedy began in 1998, including in the form of films.
Documentaries include Menyemai Terang Dalam Kelam (Planting Seeds of Light within Darkness, 2007, 56 minutes) by IGP Wiranegara; and Jembatan Bacem (Bacem's Bridge, 2012, 24 minutes) by Yayan Wiludiharto ' on Sept. 20 and 21. Visit bentarabudaya.com for more information.

Queens of Arabian night, Oum Kalsoum, Warda and Nancy Ajram, will share the stage with world-class belly dancers at the Bellydance Jakarta The Divas show on Sept. 25.

Film
American nu-metal band Payable On Death, known as P.O.D, is set to visit Jakarta as part of its P.O.D World Tour 2013 ' Live in Jakarta on Oct. 5.
The band, which is famous for tracks like 'Will You' and 'Change The World', will perform at the Senayan Swimming Pool parking lot in Central Jakarta. Presale tickets for Rp 198,000, are available for purchase until Sept. 30 at ticketonfire.com and karcis.co.id. Tickets on the gate are Rp 247,000.
