The Jakarta administration has warned the operators of public minivans, popularly known as angkot, not to loiter on the road side for passengers or, their tires will be flattened.
Deputy Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama said at City Hall on Monday that the Jakarta Transportation Agency would record the route of the minivans that always park on the road side but only resume the journey after they are full of passengers.
Your comments:
Dear deputy governor, as long as there's a system that forces drivers to collect a certain amount of money for bus operators, the vehicles would stop anywhere.
Be considerate of the fate of public transportation's drivers.
Make sure they're paid monthly or daily, rather than to exceed
some level of minimum revenue for their income. Just like Transjakarta drivers.
Change the system, their work method would change to.
