Three street children secure foreign scholarships

hree alumni from the school for street children (Master)in Depok, have been granted foreign scholarships. Two of them were accepted atthe Newcastle University in England while the third was accepted at the Universityof Jordan.
The scholarship recipients were debriefed by the Solidarity of the Indonesian United Cabinet Wives (SIKIB).
'The high official wives had also given them clothing to keep them warm during the cold weather in winter' Nurohim, the founder of the Master school for street children, said on Tuesday.
The Master school for street children was almost demolished to build a shopping mall in the location of the school. However, the public stood up for the school and the plan was cancelled.(dic)
