tate-run airport company PT Angkasa Pura I, which manages Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport, warned passengers on Thursday that there would be additional temporary closures of the airport on Oct. 5 and Oct. 7 that would cause delays to some flight schedules.
These latest temporary closures are in addition to those already announced for Oct. 6, 8 and 9 when 21 leaders of the APEC member states are slated to arrive for the prestigious APEC Summit in Nusa Dua.
'We've received new notification from the Transportation Ministry that there will be a temporary closure for commercial airlines on Oct. 5 and 7. But we have yet to determine the exact times of the delays or closures,' Angkasa Pura's head of communications and legal affairs, Alfasyah, said on Thursday.
Oct. 5: Temporary closure with, as yet, unspecified times.
Oct. 6: Temporary closure between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Bali time.
Oct. 7: Temporary closure with, as yet, unspecified times.
Oct. 8: Temporary closure between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. Bali time.
Oct. 9: Temporary closure between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Bali time.
