ith more Indonesian students wanting to study in Europe,the European Union (EU) will be hosting the fifth European Higher EducationFair (EHEF) 2013 in Surabaya on Oct. 9 and in Jakarta on Oct. 12-13.
The number of Indonesian students in Europe has increased by more than 30 percent this year compared to last year, with more than 7,000 students currently studying in Europe, according to Jenni Lundmark, program officer for the EU delegation to Indonesia.
'Nowadays, internationalization concentrates very much on student mobility, but universities need to have comprehensive strategies that go beyond mobility and encompass many other types of cooperation, such as joint degrees, joint research projects and distance-learning programs,' Lundmark said on Thursday.
