'Two Brimobofficers got involved in a fight with four soldiers whileordering drinks. One of the Brimob officers managed to go backto the karaoke room and called for help,' Jakarta Police spokesman

Thewounded officers were identified as Second Brig. S and Second Brig.Wil and Second Sgt Ch.The two Brimob officers have been hospitalizedat the Police General Hospital in Kramat Jati, East
Jakartawhile the soldier is being treated at the Gatot Subroto Army Hospital in Central Jakarta.
Commentingon the case, Army spokesman Brig. Gen. Rukman Ahmad said thesoldiers had been detained at the military police detachment detention centerfor further questioning.
'Theywill be punished but we will get to the bottom of the incident first,' he said.
Severalclashes between police officers and their army colleagueshave recently taken place in several other regions, such as in South Sumatra and Gorontalo.(dic)
