heCentral Java Police's internal affairs division has recommended the dismissalwithout honor of nine police officers from various offices throughout theprovince on charges of desertion, being absent without leave for periods ranging from52 to 408 days and involvement in drugs dealing.
'These officers have been tried and as of now we're only waiting for the Central Java Police chief to sign the dismissal documents,' Central Java Police's internal affairs division head Sr. Comr. Hendra Supriatna said on Friday.
The officers were identified only by their initials DA, AW, SR, AW, SMK, ZA, R, AC and SH. AC and SH were found guilty of involvement in a drugs syndicate. (dic)
