he Financial Services Authority (OJK) has banned thousands of licenses of individual stock brokers and underwriters.
Based on OJK's official statement quoted by Kontan.co.id, the financial monitoring super-body has banned 1,950 individual stock broker licenses and 907 underwriters.
OJK Stock Market Executive Head Nurhaida said that they had been banned for violating the regulation on brokerage licenses by failing to confirm or to update information regarding their ranks.
