he Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has completed the dossier of Indonesia Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) politician Izedrik Emir Moeism who has been charged with bribery.
Emir is expected to sit his first trial in a bribery case involving energy infrastructure company PT Alstom Indonesia next month.
"IEM's dossier [has entered] the P21 dossier stage," KPK spokesperson Priharsa Nugraha told reporters at the KPK's headquarters in Kuningan, South Jakarta, referring to Emir by his initials.
The KPK's prosecutors have 14 days to prepare their indictment for Emir and submit it to the Jakarta Corruption Court.
The KPK named Emir a suspect for allegedly accepting US$300,000 in bribes from PT Alstom Indonesia, a subsidiary of the French-based conglomerate Alstom, related to the construction of a coal-fired power plant in Tarahan, Lampung, in 2004.
