M

usician-songwriter Kevin Aprilio, 23, has been reported to the Jakarta Police for alleged fraud worth Rp 1.13 billion (US$97,329).

'€œBased on a report by Sriatin, a resident of Sragen, Central Java, she paid Rp 2.5 billion to Kevin for the production of two albums for her daughter Helen Yosita, but Kevin failed to produce the second album,'€ said city police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto on Wednesday.

Rikwanto said that Sriatin had demanded that Kevin return Rp 1.13 billion of the amount, but he refused to do so as he disagreed with the amount owed.

The police have scheduled a questioning session for Sriatin next week, said Rikwanto.

Kevin, the son of musician Addie MS and singer Memes, did not return The Jakarta Post'€™s phone calls or text messages by the time of going to press.
