ndonesia and the Netherlands signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on trade promotion Thursday.
Under the deal, the Netherlands will provide assistance to enhance the capacity of Indonesian exporters of home textiles, home decorations and food ingredients.
Trade Ministry acting director general for national export development Nus Nuzulia Ishak, who inked the deal with Dutch counterpart Dick de Man, the deputy director of the Center for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries, said that the export coaching program would boost the competitiveness of Indonesian products to access not only the market of the Netherlands but also other markets in other regions, such as Africa and America.
The signing of the MoU took place during a four-day visit of the Netherlands' business delegation led by Prime Minister Mark Rutte, which will conclude on Friday.
