The festival's theater movies competition division coordinator Toto Soegriwo said a number of nominated actors would come to the city for the festival's awards night scheduled for Saturday.
'Some 120 actors have confirmed their attendance,' said Toto.
Among the nominated actors are Happy Salma, Imelda Therine, Laudya Cynthia Bella, Laura Basuki, Abimana Aryasatya, Ikranagara, Joe Taslim, Lukman Sardi and Reza Rahadian.
Meanwhile, Semarang Culture and Tourism Agency head Nurjanah said a number of supporting programs had been prepared to make the festival merrier.
'Starting from Thursday, an exhibition of small and medium enterprises as well as entertainment presenting both local and national performers will be held in the Simpanglima area,' she said, referring to the most popular square in the city
