The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) dropped by 0.46 percent to 4,256.10 during the first trading session Wednesday.
Kontan.co.id reported nine out of 10 sectors had fallen.
The three worst-performing sectors were miscellaneous industries with a drop of 1.65 percent, mining with 0.77 percent and finance with 0.76 percent.
