Two city-owned hospitals, Koja Hospital inNorth Jakarta and Budhi Asih Hospital in East Jakarta, are expanding theircapacity by constructing new buildings.

Koja Hospital president director Togi Asman Sinaga said that the hospital would build a new 955-bed capacity building, with more than 90 percent of the beds allocated for third-class patients.

The special rooms will include three stroke units, 47 high-care units, 26 pediatric intensive care units, 24 neonatal intensive care units, 35 perinatology units and 30 intensive care units.
