Citizen journalists told to pay attention to environmental issues

eople living along the coast of North Kayong Regency, West Kalimantan have been encouraged during a writing short course event to pay more attention to various environmental issues and write about them.

The event was sponsored by the USAID'€™s Indonesia Forest and Climate Support (IFACS) and was tailored to provide training for locals who had concerns about environmental issues.

Asriyedi A Mering of the IFACS said the course was pivotal in assisting the locals to bring various environmental issues in simple language so that the locals could comprehend and finally contribute to preserving the environment.
