Actress and singer Maudy Ayunda, who starred in Perahu Kertas, is finding it difficult to adjust to life as a student at Oxford University, the United Kingdom.
'The studying is fine. Its more about the food,' she said as quoted by tribunnews.com. 'And I have to do everything alone, like cooking. I have to learn to be independent.'
She said she loved her rice but had to adapt to wheat-based products.
Maudy, however, said that despite all the difficulties she loved meeting people of various nationalities including Nigeria, Mexico, Germany and Italy.
'It really opened up my mind and I'm grateful to have this experience,' said Maudy, who is back in Jakarta until January.
