'We have arrested eight members of the syndicate, some of them were college and senior high school students,' Mataram Police detective chief Adj. Comr. Agus Dwi Ananta revealed on Tuesday.
Agus said police also seized 50 motorcycles that were stolen by the gang, in several operations last month.
He added police found Molotov cocktails and some sharp weapons during one of the raids in a house in Cakranegara area.
