Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis-Hill is pregnant and won't compete at this year's Commonwealth Games.
The 27-year-old Ennis-Hill, who married her long-time partner Andy Hill last year, is expecting her first baby.
Ennis-Hill says her 2014 competition schedule has been "completely turned upside down" by the news but that she will be bidding for a second gold medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Ennis-Hill, who won the heptathlon gold medal at the 2012 London Games, said she is planning "on returning to fulltime athletics once our baby is born."
Ennis-Hill missed last year's world championships in Moscow due to an Achilles injury and has barely competed since the Olympics.
