Governor Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo is scheduled to oversee the inauguration of the new North Jakarta mayor next week.
Gubernatorial and foreign affairs bureau head Heru Budi Hartono is set to assume the post, replacing Bambang Sugiono, who has been appointed as assistant to city secretary for social welfare.
Deputy Governor Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama said Friday that the inauguration ceremony would take place on Monday.
Ahok, however, did not specify where the event would take place.
Jokowi has been known to organize inauguration ceremonies for local leaders in various locations rather than City Hall.
