'I've received a report from the regency administration that the deputy regent is running the administration,' Ganjar said in Semarang, the provincial capital, on Wednesday.
Salim, a Democratic Party politician, has been named a suspect by the Central Java Police special crime investigation directorate in an equity fund corruption case that allegedly caused Rp 4.12 billion in state losses in 2010. He was arrested on Monday after being questioned for five hours.
However, at about 9 p.m. on Monday, Salim was rushed to Bhayangkara Hospital after complaining of heart problems
