wo men allegedly died due to intoxication afterconsuming alcohol cocktails in Mustikajaya, Bekasi, West Java, tempo.coreported on Friday.
Jakarta Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said that Sulaeman, 29, died in Bekasi General Hospital at 2 a.m. on Jan. 17, while Lupi Sukowiyono died on Jan. 16 in Rawalumbu Hospital.
The two men and their three friends had thrown a party on Jan. 15 where mixed alcoholic drinks were freely available. The next day, Sulaeman was admitted to hospital at 11 p.m. due to queasiness.
'The victim fell unconscious en route to the hospital,' Rikwanto said Friday.
Rikwanto said the police had questioned two witnesses and examined the party venue in Bekasi Timur Regency housing complex. 'The investigation is still ongoing,' he said.
