Since floodwaters in Jakarta started to subside on Thursday, motorists have been complaining of damage to roads that has appeared in numerous parts of the country'€™s capital.

Your comments:

 Do people really think the roads magically just repair themselves as soon as the water goes down? Grow a brain people. Filling potholes right now is the only viable option so they can get traffic flowing again. There is a lot of planning that has to go into resurfacing an entire road and guaranteed that road will close to most traffic while it'€™s going on.

The only problem is once they'€™ve covered the potholes they think the job is done. Repairing the damage by only covering the potholes isn'€™t good enough, you need to resurface the road!
