T Prudential Life Assurance taught children financial literacy through its Idola Cha-Ching competition program.
The final session was held at Cilandak Townsquare in Cilandak, South Jakarta, on Dec. 14 last year.
The competition sought to educate youngsters about the four concepts of financial management and encourage them to create an art performance to convey the concepts to the public while being accompanied by the 'Cha-Ching Money-Smart Kids' theme song.
Some 440 videos containing participants' performances had been submitted to the competition committee during the program's submission period from September to November last year.
Financial knowledge at an early age, especially one introduced through an entertaining manner, will help children to have sound financial planning in the future, the company said.
