The floods returned on Wednesday after incessant rain hit the capital overnight, forcing hundreds of residents to wade back to evacuation shelters.
Unlike the recent flooding, more commercial districts and main thoroughfares were affected by floodwater that jammed traffic for several hours in the morning.
Your comments:
The road repairs and traffic should be the number one priority in Jakarta. Stop blaming each other and get on with it.
I suspect I speak for everyone here that we are sick and tired of it. Jokowi, where are your priorities?
Johnny
Perhaps the government should move up renovating and rebuilding the drainage system in the city to priority status instead of complaining and pushing off into politics.
I wonder what would happen if the central government offices were constantly flooded year after year.

The companies that are fixing the roads should pay for any damage that occurs during these floods, not the government.
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) needs to investigate these companies that fix the small roads because after they are fixed for a month potholes start to appear again that damage cars.
