he East JavaPolice are pursuing a man who has allegedly supplied bomb materials for Sukron,a fisherman who died due to an explosion in his house in Pasuruan yesterday.
'We know his identity and right now we are pursuing him,' East Java Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Awi Setionoon said on Thursday.
He said the police were investigating the network behind the supplier. He added that bomb material had been regularly sent to Sukron in the form of black powder, raw material for TNT.
According to the police, the use of black powder as the bomb's ingredient had turned a fish bomb - usually a low-explosive - into a high-explosive capable of causing maximum damage. This explained why the explosion was fatal and damaged the majority of the house.(dic)
