he Central Java, Jakarta and Lampung police, arrestedon Friday three out of the six robbers of a gold shop in Kendal, Central Java,who stole 7 kilograms of gold worth Rp 4.05 billion (US$335,043) in December2013.
Central Java Police Chief Insp. Gen. Dwi Priyatno said on Wednesday that the three suspects were apprehended at their respective houses: Bambang Sugeng Priyadi, 32, in Bandar Lampung; Abdul Rohman alias Pardi, 43, in Jepara, Central Java; and Anton Sujarwo, 31, in Bekasi.
'The other three, namely ZA, AR and SPR, remain at large,' said Dwi, adding that the three were involved in the robbery and provided the motorcycle get away vehicles.
The police have also arrested Ahmad Wahyudi Soleh, 36, of Pati, Central Java.
The suspects would be charged with violating Article 365 of the Criminal Code, which carries a maximum penalty of 12 years imprisonment.
