The Jakarta administration aims to collect Rp 6
The Jakarta administration aims to collect Rp 6.8 trillion (US$565.06 million) in property tax (PBB) this fiscal year.
'With 1.9 million taxpayers in 2014, the target is realistic,' tribunnews.com quoted Jakarta Tax Agency head Iwan Setiawandi as saying on Thursday.
He said that municipalities had set different targets. The tax agency has targeted Rp 2.2 trillion from South Jakarta, Rp 1.5 trillion from North Jakarta, Rp 1.3 trillion from Central Jakarta, Rp 1.01 trillion from West Jakarta, Rp 800 billion from East Jakarta and Rp 7 billion from the Kepulauan Seribu regency.
According to Iwan, the agency has finished printing tax forms and delivered them to all subdistrict offices throughout the city.
'The taxpayers can get their tax forms at the subdistrict offices from Feb. 14 until Feb. 28,' he said.
