UGM's student affair director Senawi said that funds totaling Rp 95.5 billion had been managed by the university's academic administration directorate, finance directorate, schools and international affairs office for 168 different scholarships for over 15,000 of its students.
These exclude the direct scholarship programs, which are funded through 50 different sources worth nearly Rp 88 billion in total for 12,542 students.
'Currently 33.85 percent of UGM's 50,000 students benefit from the scholarships, most of whom are undergraduates or vocational students,' Senawi said on Wednesday
