The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has warned the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry of the hundreds of millions of US dollars in losses caused by the delay in the increase of royalty rates, as mandated by the 2009 Mining Law.

Your comments:

I just don'€™t understand why the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry is not taken to task when hundreds of millions are lost by unexplained delays in the increase of royalty rates, per the 2009 Mining Law.

The Ministry must be brought to court to answer for their misdemeanor and should not get away with this.

It is very obvious to the whole country that when there is money to be raked in, most of the ministries will pass their own laws to ensure their income.
