he Rejanglebong General Elections Commission (KPU) in Bengkulu has yet toreceive 1,884 new ballots to replace ones that were damaged.
'We sent a request for replacements on March 22, but haven't received anything
until today,' Rejanglebong KPU logistics coordinator Restu S Wibowo said on
Thursday as quoted by Antara news agency.
He voiced hope that the replacement ballots would be delivered before the April 5 deadline, stating that the legislative election's integrity was at risk.
He said preparations for other election logistics were nearly complete.
Rejanglebong regency was allocated 802,572 ballots in total.
It was also allocated 2,261 polling boxes for 554 polling stations. (idb)
