Austerity protest: A protestor is seen though a banner reading "No" as she marches during a protest against government's austerity measures in Madrid, Spain, on Thursday. Trade unions organised 50 demonstrations across Spain to protest against the austerity measures applied by the Spanish government and recommended by the European Union. The demonstrations are in line with the European Trade Union Confederation's actions which will culminate on Friday, April 4 with a Euro-demonstration in Brussels.
