Your comments on the series of election-related violent attacks in Aceh, the most recent of which resulted in the deaths of three people when the vehicle they were driving, which bore a sticker depicting a local legislative candidate, was shot at in a village in Bireuen, Aceh, on Monday night:

The recent shooting spree in Aceh reminds us of the old days of military operation in the same region.

This latest attack was possibly committed by ex-members of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) rebel forces.

The motive behind the incident is that the unknown shooter does not like the picture of the legislative candidate on the minibus.

Eddy Arjuna Zainy

I believe that the shooter is not a former member of GAM.

Ferril Irham Muzaki
