The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) increased slightly by 0.11 percent to 4,870.22 on Tuesday afternoon, kompas.com reported.
Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data showed 138 shares strengthened in the closing session, while 162 shares declined and 90 shares stayed unchanged.
Volume of transactions involved 4.871 billion shares worth Rp 5.983 trillion (US$520.52 million).
Shares that supported the strengthening of the JCI were PT Summarecon Agung (SMRA), PT Bumi Serpong Damai (BSDE), PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia (LSIP) and PT Adhi Karya (ADHI).
Meanwhile, shares that declined in the final trading session were PT Adaro Energy (ADRO), PT Matahari Putra Prima (MPPA), PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLKM) and Bank Central Asia (BBCA). (nfo/nvn)
