Tohpati follows dream in 'Tribal Dance'

Tohpati is slated to release his latest album, Tribal Dance, on April 26.
The prominent Indonesian guitarist said that the album was a reflection of his dream to jam with two American musicians: bassist Jimmy Haslip and drummer Chad Wackerman.
'The album actually was released internationally in Los Angeles. The album was produced in September. On April 26, I will release it in Indonesia,' said Tohpati as quoted by tempo.co.
Tohpati said that producing Tribal Dance was like a dream come true as he had dreamt of playing with the musicians, who he called his inspirations, since childhood.
'I'm so excited to collaborate with Haslip and Wackerman,' he said.
Wackerman has played with Frank Zappa, while Haslip has collaborated with Chaka Khan, Bob James and Kiss.
