evere congestion was caused in the area of Jl. D.I. Panjaitan in East Jakarta on Wednesday after a crane slipped off a truck onto which it was being loaded.
The fallen crane blocked an entire lane of the six-lane road.
Adj. Sr. Comr. Supoyo, head of the East Jakarta Police traffic unit, said that the crane was being loaded onto the truck after being used in a construction project at the Jakarta Building Supervisory Agency building. 'It happened at 3 a.m., the crane slipped and fell in the process,' he said as quoted by tempo.co.
He said the traffic congestion in the area lasted until long after the rush hour.
