The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) decreased by 0.04 percent to 4,891.08 in Thursday's final trading.
Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data showed 136 shares weakened in the afternoon while 164 shares strengthened and 84 shares remained unchanged.
Volume of transactions involved 3.95 billion stocks worth Rp 5.65 trillion (US$485.9 million), kontan.co.id reported.
Stocks across six sectors weakened in the closing session, such as mining, which slipped by 0.42 percent, followed by plantations and trade, which recorded a decline of 0.39 percent and 0.38 percent, respectively.
Manufacturing strengthened by 6.29 percent, followed by construction and miscellaneous industry with 0.93 percent and 0.48 percent, respectively.
IDX data shows the biggest losers of the afternoon were PT Trikomsel Oke (TRI), PT Garda Tujuh Buana (GTBO), PT Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (MFMI), PT Sekar Bumi (SKBM) and PT Indo Straits (PTIS).
Meanwhile, PT Fortune Indonesia (FORU), PT Asuransi Ramayana (ASRM), PT Delta Dunia Makmur (DOID), PT Toba Bara Sejahtera (TOBA) and PT Pelangi Indah Canindo (PICO) were the highest gainers. (nfo)
