Dutch soccer club AFC Ajax will tour Indonesia at the end of the season and play friendly matches against two Indonesian clubs.
The visiting team will face Persija Jakarta on May 11 and Persib Bandung on May 14.
Ajax marketing director Edwin van der Sar said that the tour was a special opportunity for the club to familiarize itself with Indonesian soccer fans.
'Most Indonesians have yet to witness a live performance by Ajax. Therefore, it will be a good opportunity for the players and hopefully it will be a great experience for them,' he said.
The representative of PT Liga and the Soccer Association of Indonesia (PSSI), Tigor Shalom Boboy, said that Liga and PSSI applauded the plan, hoping that Indonesia could learn a lot from Ajax.
