This week, Christians will celebrate Easter to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. There is no single interpretation of Jesus' resurrection. Some followers of Rudolf Bultmann insist that the resurrection is not a historical event, even though it is certainly presented as so in the gospels, in which one of its manifestations was that Jesus' tomb was found empty on the first day of the week by several of Jesus' women followers. Christianity and Islam share the same historical background up until Isaac and Ishmael. From there the story diverges further and further, with each religion claiming it carries the truth and saying the other one is false.
The writer of this article is trying hard to find common ground. Unfortunately, the two religions embody different beliefs.

There are a lot of records and artifacts you can find if you open your heart and are willing to look, slowly but surely. Religion is not a fairy tale. I'm a Muslim, and I heard about some scientific finding that proved that the Holy Koran is right and does not tell fairy tales or lies.
One of the examples is that a river exists in the deep sea. Thousands of years ago people didn't even think about it. Today's scientists found it, but it was actually written about thousands of years ago when people didn't have the technology to do scientific research on the deep sea!
If you look up the history of religion with a closed heart, I'm pretty sure you won't find anything at all, but when you are dying, your heart will open and you will see that God exists and the Koran is right. But when you are dying and finally see it with your own eyes it will be too late.

Why don't we just recombine the three Abrahamic religions and remove all the elements that are pure fantasy and keep everything scientific. I am sure the three prophets have no quarrel with one another; neither should their followers.
