Nia busy with TV film series

Filmmaker Nurkurniati Aisyah Dewi, better known as Nia Dinata, says she is currently busy making a television film series.
'The series is about someone running for political office. But it will also be about a hair salon,' she said as quoted by Antara news agency.
Nia stressed that the series would be different from other sinetron (local soap operas) without elaborating further.
'I'm still finishing the first season which has 13 episodes. The series is slated to be released in mid-May,' said the director of Arisan!
She said she agreed to make the TV series because she shared the same vision as the TV channel.
