"Thousands from different parts of society will come to our headquarters to sign the petition. There will be lecturers, teachers and university students as well as housewives," Erlinda said on Friday as quoted by tempo.co.
She added that with the amount of support received, the KPAI could demand that the police also solve similar cases at other schools.
Furthermore, Erlinda said that some people who sign the petition on Monday may also report other alleged sex abuse cases at other schools.
"We really need the support of the public if we want to solve the case at JIS, as well as those at other places," she said.
The KPAI is closely monitoring the alleged JIS rape case. It is suspected that there may be more than one victim.
Six PT ISS cleaners contracted to the school have been declared suspects. (fss)
