he Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) weakened by 1.01 percent to 4,935.19 by lunchtime on Friday.
Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data showed 182 stocks slipped down during the midday trading session, while 88 stocks strengthened and 67 stocks remained unchanged.
The volume of transactions involved 3.575 billion shares worth Rp 3.649 trillion (US$298.33 million), kontan.co.id reported.
Shares across nine different sectors had fallen by 12 p.m., with infrastructure recording the highest fall of 2.16 percent.
This was followed by miscellaneous industries and finance, falling 1.77 percent and 1.33 percent, respectively.
The biggest losers on the LQ45 index were PT United Tractors (UNTR), PT Express Transindo (TAXI) and PT Pakuwon Jati (PWON).
Meanwhile, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGAS), PT XL Axiata (EXCL) and PT AKR Corporindo (AKRA) were the index's highest gainers. (nfo)
