AKARTA: Telkomsel is working with Cigna to provide free accident insurance throughout the month of Ramadhan.
More than 135 million Telkomsel subscribers are eligible for this offer. Just simply activate your TCash account and send a text message to Telkomsel.
Subscribers can call *828*1# to register for TCash, followed by sending their personal data via SMS to 2828.
Approved applicants will get 60-day coverage worth Rp 15 million (US$1,280).
This 'Free Personal Accident' program is only eligible for customers aged 18-64. The value of this program is estimated to reach Rp 1.56 trillion.
'We developed this product based on the needs of our customers in Indonesia. We were also inspired by their culture and habits during Ramadhan,' said Julian Mengual, the deputy CEO of PT Asuransi Cigna, as quoted by kompas.com.
